「Very quaint hotel for staying at the beach. Rates very reasonable as we have stayed before in the past. Great private access to the beach. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The bathroom needed more electrical outlets.」

「I was required to pay an additional $50 for a non smoking room. The deposit was not indicated online. The non smoking room that I was given had a strong smell of smoke. I asked for another non smoking room and was charged additional money for that room. Since it was late, I went ahead and paid it. That room had a strong mold smell to it although it did seem to improve after the ac ran a few hours. The wifi would not connect. Staff were unable to help. The next morning I asked to check out and...

「Surprisingly charming little motel. Checkin staff was super friendly and helpful - offered us free bike and kayak rentals which was unexpected. It sits right on a little creek with pretty quick access to the sound. Apparently it was someone’s birthday and they were throwing a little party on the grounds - there’s a small stage, they had live music, free food. We had plans so we didn’t go but it was nice to be invited. :) It’s clearly been around for a long time but seemed to be pretty...

「コロナ禍とオフシーズンのためか、朝食およびベッドメイクはありませんでした。 食事は、部屋に冷蔵庫と電子レンジがあるので、10分ほど歩くスーパーで買い出ししてすごしました。 タオルやアメニティ、コーヒーなどは、フロントに電話しておくと、ビニールに入れて部屋前に置いておいてくれました。 設備は年季が入っていますが、シャワーのお湯はしっかりと出て使いやすかったです。 ネットは到着時は利用できませんでしたが、フロントに電話すると復旧してもらえました。 サービスは期待しない、やってもらいたいことはフロントに電話すれば可能な範囲で対応してもらえる、ということで、日本の安宿で素泊まりしたような状況でした。 オフピークで値段も安かったので、値段相応だと感じました。 朝食やサービスを期待する人には向きませんが、安くシンプルに宿泊したい人には良いホテルだと思います。」

「We had a wonderful stay at the Outer Banks Motor Lodge! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The location was convenient, and it was a great place to stay while enjoying the Outer Banks. The room was comfortable and well-kept, and the staff were friendly and helpful. You can tell they really care about their guests and want everyone to have a great experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Outer Banks Motor Lodge to anyone...

「Can't expect excellent standards at a motel that must be at least 70 years old. But considering its age, it was very, very well worth the money. The hardwood floors appeared to be new, as was the mattress, the TV, the paint, and the shower. The window AC was noisy, but kept the room artic cold (had to clean the filter screen). I would stay here again.」
