「This was a lovely home with gracious and helpful hosts, off-street parking and a fabulous garden right next door to a historic 14th century Norman church. Alistair gave us lots of very helpful information about beautiful local walks, along with excellent maps and detailed instructions. The village is great with several nice places to eat (again Tricia and Alistair gave us excellent advice), and a local bakery which will make you a packed lunch for your walks. 「This was our second stay at Butterfield Cottage - two wonderful weeks at this cosy, comfortable, immaculate cottage. The owner, Jan, was so kind, accommodating and quick to respond allowing us early check in after an overnight flight and late check out as well.The cottage has everything you could ask for - comfortable beds, two bathrooms, well appointed kitchen and cosy living and dining space. The weather was outstanding so we made great use of the front terrace as well as the rear garden. ...

We had our 4 month old grandson with us and there was everything we could need for him too. There were breakfast goodies and amazing coffee. The location is great for walking and exploring.
