"It's a student halls of residence. If that's what you're expecting I would imagine you'd be very happy with the room. If you're expecting a hotel, it's not a hotel. It was exactly as I was expecting. Comfortable, no frills, perfectly fine for a one night stay for me. Wifi was great. A little bit of noise at times, it's student accommodation, but not too noisy by a long way. I recently stayed at the IBIS in Bristol and that was far noisier. Would happily book again for a short stay."

"The apartment is very nice (if a little run-down and stained) and well-located for the university. There is a lot of space, and the beds are very comfortable, although it is quite hot and there was only one fan. However, all of that was overshadowed by the fact that one bedroom was crawling with bedbugs. "We got there in the afternoon of May 27 with 90deg F. The room was hot. AC was not working. At the reception, staff said they are working on it to fix it. It never got fixed. They were out of portable fans as every room had the same issue. There is no wifi in our room. I think some other rooms closer to the center of the hotel had wifi. On top of all these, loud emergency alarm went off for 5 seconds at 6:30 AM for no reason in the entire hotel. Enough to wakes us up and scare us. I won't recommend this."

"Original room smelled like faeces and I was already running late for a function so asked for a new room. The lady at the desk insisted that no one would be free for the next 2 hours to deliver our new room key and insisted we come down for the key. Did we make the room smell like faeces? Was there any attempt to make our stay feel better after that experience. I’m not sure who she was but she was very rude on the phone, didn’t say bye and hung up on me. Won’t be staying here again. I’m a doctor who goes above and beyond for patients at work, you’d think when I have time off, someone working is hospitality would be hospitable in return. Never again."
