"Room was clean. Housekeeping staff were very friendly, although spoke Spanish only. Host was very helpful and friendly. The staff alone were worth the price of the stay. Awesome view of the ocean. Walking distance to the store and the whole town, really. Just not when it's raining and windy. THANK YOU!"

"Surf Inn is a gorgeous motel with a setting overlooking the bluffs and the ending of the Gualala River as it meets the vast Pacific Ocean. Rooms are comfortable and parking in front is more than ample. And huge bonus is the on site laundry room available for guests. You just NVR know when this comes in so handy . Daily continental breakfast is nice and coffee is available all day either in each room with a provided Keurig Brewer or at the front office. Beverages are also available at the front office for a minimal fee . Walking distance to most eateries "

"Wonderful home in an incredible part of the world. The host was very welcoming, offering helpful information about the area well in advance of our stay. The house was very comfortable for me, my wife, and two teenaged sons. The kitchen has everything one needs. The beds are comfortable. The living space is cozy with great light, especially at sunset. Lovely forest trails are within very short walking distance of the house. And the hot tub is the perfect place to watch the stars while reflecting on a perfect day. "

"Property was clean and comfortable. It’s a three story home with one bedroom on the bottom floor and the master on the third floor, something to keep in mind if traveling with small children. Peek-a-boo water view from second and third story. Lots of windows, forest feel but a short drive to beach access. Best of both worlds! Be sure to turn on the vent before you cook."

"Stayed here with my wife and dog. Can comfortably fit a family of four no problem though. Its a nice, comfortable, and cozy house. The value of this listing is the location and view however. We bbqd on the back patio, with a view of the ocean. Tough to beat that. Will be staying again. "
