Timber Cove is a special place. The surrounding scenery is amazing and the state parks nearby are beautiful, We loved the skylight and ocean view balcony in our room and our bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the music in the great room on Wednesday night.
Amazing views & setting for a relaxing Thanksgiving. The food was very tasty and the staff were friendly and helpful! The resort is very dog forward, with wonderful places to walk or just sit and relax with the 4 legged guests.
Loved our stay! The location on the coast is wonderful and best of all there is space to walk around and explore a little. We found the staff friendly and helpful, the facilities were great and we really enjoyed dinner and breakfast on-site. Looking forward to going back.
Only quibble is the overly priced food/drink options. Every night we stayed here (3 nights total) spent an average $150-200 exclusively at the bar/restaurant. But it's the only spot nearby and we were on vacay so splurgin we did lol.
Our room was well decorated but one can tell it's aged. Yet still comfy and had phenomenal cliff-side ocean views.
Staff at the main lobby and bar were top-notch, profesh, hospitable, and welcoming.
Would we stay at this place again? Not unless we're planning to over spend & splurge :-D
The entire staff we interacted with at the property were stellar. The resort is very dog-friendly with plenty of pet waste stations available around the property. There were activities for the entire family, from scavenger hunts to board games, to table tennis and pool table and a life-size chess board. The on-site restaurant prepared delicious meals throughout the day and offered fun freebies like sunset champagne, evening cookies, and limited breakfast pastries at certain times. The fireplace was a nice touch to their rooms and the views were spectacular from the suites. I am already looking forward to my next visit.
Beautiful grounds and views. Food was delicious especially the burger. Haven’t felt that relaxed in years

So great location. Beautiful views. But really there is no other dining options within 30 minutes. Dining is lack luster and way over priced. Very limited menu. Free coffee and pastries in the morning. ( coffee great , pastries were prepackaged and not good). The vibe is great , the views priceless but the food menu really was poor.
We had a wonderful stay at Timber Cove. The staff, food and accommodations were amazing. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Timber Cove Resort and would absolutely return. Nestled along the rugged coastline, the property offers sweeping ocean views and a sense of calm the moment you arrive. It feels special without trying too hard.
We stayed in a suite with a wraparound deck facing the ocean, and it was exceptional. The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable, and the views were truly unforgettable. Even though there was a big storm during our stay, we still caught some sunshine and even saw seals playing in the cove below.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every interaction felt thoughtful and genuinely kind. I mentioned that it was my husband’s birthday, and the front desk surprised us with a small cheese plate as an afternoon snack, followed by celebratory glasses of wine at dinner. Lovely and unexpected.
Overall, Timber Cove delivered a memorable, relaxing experience with excellent atmosphere, stunning scenery, and truly gracious hospitality.
Wonderful three nights stay at the Timber Cove Resort enjoying the big fire place and fantastic scenery. I had not been to the Timber Cove Resort in 23 years and it was even better than I remembered. The Menu was creative and every dish was delicious especially the smoked Trout chowder.
Amazing stay. Great staff. The grounds are breathtaking and the architecture lovely. Our family was very very happy with our stay here and can’t wait to come back.
Three night trip up north coast and Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff member was welcoming. We reserved a family room for four at nearly $540 per night. Bringing our 9 lb dog added another $150, plus a resort fee that was supposed to cover amenities like the gym, coffee, and pastries. However, when we went for coffee at 9 a.m., we were told it ended at 8 a.m., which felt intentionally cheap. We ended up paying another $30 for three coffees at the bar, where the service was unfriendly.
The room was cramped, with a large table taking up valuable space. While the beds were comfortable, the room was not clean. Thick cobwebs covered the ceiling corners, and with the low ceilings, they were very noticeable.
The bathroom amenities were minimal with the pre bottled soap. No extras another cheap sign. The shower bottles sat on a flimsy shelf that cut my son’s hand, and the open shower design left the entire bathroom floor wet. Robes were provided, but no slippers, making the cold floor uncomfortable.
On the plus side, the room had a small deck with a beautiful view. Dining service was pleasant, and the bartender was kind, though the food was average. Dogs aren’t allowed in the dining room but are allowed in the lobby, which felt odd considering the dining room was sparse and not unlike a basic cafeteria feel.
Overall, the grounds are nice, but the lack of cleanliness and paying over $700 a night was not worth it. Cannot recommend, sadly.
We had an amazing time at Timber Cove. The resort has all the amenities you need for a quiet, cozy and relaxing time. The area around is beautiful and you will enjoy walks and hikes with easy access.
