"We really liked the parking, bathroom amenities and the comfortability of the king sized bed. Two things were very disturbing, one was the noise from the refrigerator ( I had to get up in the middle of the night to un plug it, and the other was the fire alarm placed right above the head of the bed with a bright white light always on. Bad design idea and so irritating at night. The hotel had a great location with close walking distance to wonderful restaurants located on the water."

"The goods: we had a room on the third floor overlooking the ocean, with a balcony and chairs to sit and view….it was a quick walk to the ocean and we left our windows open all night…just to hear it! That’s how close you are!! ❤️❤️The view and proximity alone….will get this to at LEAST 5 stars. However, our rooms, although decent size and the bed, was pretty comfortable…..it needed some real attention. There was plenty of space for us and bathroom had plenty of space to get around in the morning but….the furniture was pretty banged up…doors couldn’t shut anymore…and the stains all over the carpet 😬. This is where we spent our 15th wedding anniversary…and glad we did. We made the very best of where we were…. Come for the views, the ocean, the proximity and the beach. Breathtakingly beautiful."

"Room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a fan as the room was warm. When I alerted staff that my room was out of shampoo and body wash, it was refilled immediately. The breakfast could have been better. We ended up not eating there. I've been all over Europe where the hotel breakfasts are top notch. You just don't get that in the States. Other than that, this place is well worth the price. It's conveniently located within walking distance to Old Town, which is charming. I highly recommend. This was our second time staying here and we will again"

"It was a lovely cabin set amongst tall trees by a quiet lake. You feel like you're in a cabin out in the country in a Hallmark movie, but you make hear kids laughing and playing in the lake and are just a few minutes from all the conviences of the local town of Ferndale.The cabin is well organized with everything you'd need and everything is well labeled and documented. The owner, Joan, went out of her way to contact us when we left medical supplies in the refigerator, offering to overnight them and helping us find a solution. She was very thoughtful and only made us feel better about our whole wonderful experiance there."
