The staff were friendly, but the 1st room we were assigned was on the 3rd floor and the elevator wasn't working, so we had to return to reception and get a 1st floor room. The room didn't have any luggage racks, there was only 1 chair in the room. Then in the evening our toliet was plugged. They don't have phones in the room, so you have to call via your cell phone and the front desk didn't answer so we have to walk over and let them know about the toilet issue. Luckly there was a maintenance person on call and he was able to unplug the toilet. The small bar/restaurant left a lot to be desired. At least the Monarch is located in the center of Oldtown Scottsdale and there were wonderful restaurants to choose from.

"Everything from the pools to the waterpark. The rooms were completely to my satisfaction. The ice machines seem to be out or low alot but everyone was filling coolers and it's 115 degrees out so i wouldn't expect anything different. We're 53 years old and had the best time ever and will be back."
