Comfy and quiet… just as listed

Was a great place to stay for the weekend with two teens and a dog. Beds were super comfy, Finnish pancakes were delicious. Hosts were very quick to respond when I asked a question.

Convenient spacious apartment

Property is lovely and clean with everything you need for a short or long stay. Pancakes in the fridge was a definite hit. Only issue was it was abit stuffy. Could use table fans in each room

Awesome Stay

If you are looking for a great place to stay In Thunder Bay book here. Central located, lots of room, kitchen fully stocked to cook family meals. This place had everything… and I mean everything you could think you might need.

Lots of space, Clean Apartment, Just what was needed

Nice apartment, with lots of space.I was travelling with 3 young adult daughters, therefore needed some space between each of us. This apartment worked out well. The bunk bed is two doubles/queens. Not sure, but we were surprised at how big the bunk beds were at both levels. I worked online from the apartment while there, and the internet worked well without issues.

Clean and comfortable

2 adults and 5 teenagers stayed after a canoe trip to explore local sites. This property was perfect and just as described. Crepes were a great hit!

Once again an awesome stay

So grateful to Mike and Taina for providing our group with an amazing home away from home! Absolutely everything and more was provided. The suite is quiet and the area is perfect for us as our dog trial was 5 minutes away. We have stayed at Mike and Taina’s 4 times now and each time the accommodation could not be beat. So grateful that they were able to let us stay an extra night due to a snowstorm. We definitely will be back. Thanks so much!

This was our third time staying at one of Mike and Tania’s property. Another wonderful stay! Beautiful suite. Green space available for our dogs and all the amenities we could ever want. Mike and Taina truly aim to please and they definitely do!!!

Great place in TB!

We loved our stay at this property. It was clean, extremely well stocked, and a convenient location to get around town. We loved that it was on a renovated school with fun details like the old style floors in some spaces. Loved the Finnish pancakes, strawberries and cream that were left for us to enjoy our first morning. Definitely recommend this spot and these owners.

Fantastic stay

We have stayed in quite a few vacation rentals over the years...and this may be the single nicest place we've ever stayed. Just a beautiful apartment, absolutely spotless with every amenity we could think of. We were there during a summer heat wave, but the air conditioner in the living room did a good job of keeping things comfortable. We also enjoyed the Finnish pancakes!

Home away from home

Very clean. A lot of amenities, more than you would expect. The hosts intentionally made it to be very inclusive and did not scrimp on the details. Originally we were to stay from May 4 to May 10 but needed to extend our stay to May 17 due to the contractors not having the work done, luckily the hosts were able to accomodate.Upon walking through the door, we knew we found a true gem in the heart of Thunder Bay.We have already recommended this property to several people. Thank you Taina and Mike!!

Home away from home

We’ve never stayed anywhere with our fur babies and felt so comfortable. The location made travelling around the city easy. We most definitely will be making this our home when in Thunder Bay. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Wonderful stay in Thunder Bay

We really enjoyed staying in the VRBO rental in Thunder Bay. The aoartment was well laid out and the furniture very comfortable. We really enjoyed theFinnish pancakes with berries and whio cream. Taina and Mike were great hosts. Thank you so much for the ease in accessing your site . The tv channels and the alexa pod were bonus features. When we are in Thunder Baynext time, we will check to see if we can rent your VRBO apartment again.

Great comfort and convenience

Strongly recommend! Great space!

This was an amazing place to stay for a long weekend there with all of our family! We stayed from Thursday- Sunday and it was so great. This place from reservations to check in to our stay to check out was great. Tania and Mike were responsive when we had questions and very good hosts. We especially loved how well stocked the place was, it was like being in your own apartment. We also loved how close it was to everything in Thunder Bay! It was a nice spacious VRBO as well with tall ceilings. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay here again- thank you Mike and Tania!

Perfect Stay

We stayed in this apartment after canoeing 6 days in the back country of Quetico and it turned out to be an excellent place to rest and regroup. We enjoyed the spaciousness and all the special touches that made our stay so comfortable. (pancake breakfast, chips, coffee, tea, coins for laundry, etc. and the extra toothbrushes/toothpaste that were unexpectantly needed.) The location was great and close to the marina. 30 minutes got us to the worth seeing Kakabeka Falls. Communication was always quick and the notes around the place were helpful. Thank you for making this a home away from home!

Comfortable Place to Connect

We came from a two day drive away and decided to stay here because it looked like a welcoming and comfortable to connect with our eldest before sending him off to Lakehead University for the first time. And it was! Our boys were so excited about the yummy chips Taina and Mike had left and we were delighted to have breakfast ready for us to make so we could spend time connecting over a nice leisurely brunch. It was a perfect location to grab last minute things for our eldest and it was quiet so we could sleep well before and after the big move! Thank you Taina and Mike! We will definitely be back when we are visiting 🙏❤️
