"Had a great time at this property. It was a family trip, my kids are ages 13 and 5. They played by the river, the swings and the rope swing all day. Never wanted to go into the house. You have the whole river to yourself and it is very secluded. My husband and I also spent all day outside. Fishing, playing horseshoes and just sitting by the river relaxing. We only went into the house in the evenings. We were able to just put in some DVDs and watch movies and play dominoes. It was so peaceful in the house, you could enjoy the sound of the river, frogs and birds etc. I would definitely recommend this place to a family that just wants to enjoy their time together and can stay at a place that has the basics provided and doesn’t need a fancy modern house to stay in."

"Our vacation to Yosemite and Sequoia was wonderful and included staying at this beautiful house in the foothills in Three Rivers. Perfectly located and convenient to several restaurants and the Village Market where you’ll find everything you need (if you want to cook). Dusty was a wonderful host. Communicated timely. The home was stocked with everything you could possibly need, tastefully decorated and very cozy. Much appreciated after long days of hiking and exploring. We did not have the opportunity to enjoy the pool or spa but it looked very inviting and clean. The sound of the roaring river nearby was very peaceful. The road to get to the house is a single lane mountain road with some curves that can be problematic if you’re not paying attention or planning ahead for an oncoming car. Only once did someone else come around too fast. I highly recommend Dusty’s cabin if you are planning a trip to Sequoia NP!"

"Clean and updated, good continental breakfast with many options, reasonable driving distance from the Sequoia National Park . The TV connection did not work even after the staff promptly came to fix it. We were too tired at the end of the day, and a break from TV was actually welcome during vacation, so we didn’t try again to ask for help."

"My husband and I loved staying here. The property was super clean. The host contacted us before our stay to alert us to some road construction that was happening that could affect our stay. The views are amazing!!!"

"We met up for the Jazz Festival. Although tucked away, this was a great place to stay, with easy access. my only reservation was the climbing up the steep stairs. ( being in the mountains, I should have known.) One of the group has cardiac problems so this was a bit difficult. Otherwise, everything was very clean and well organized. Virtually anything we needed was available. The views were unbelievable coffee on the porch was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful stay."
