Matanah Meadows Farm, House Great for 2 Families, Sequoia National Park and Farm

Nestled in the foothills on the 80 acre farm, Matanah Meadows, this spacious home overlooks pastureland, a boating and fishing pond, the Kaweah river valley, rugged wildlands and the rocky peaks. The farm is 4.9 miles away from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. It offers its own trails, nature walks and animal interactions with endangered farm animals such as the rare Randall Cattle and New Mexico Dahl sheep. The friendly goats, dogs, ducks and peacocks will definitely brighten your day!

Property was ok, some areas were dirty like couch and a bit dusty in some areas. People live on farm so my family felt that we were being watch the whole stay and it was a bit uncomfortable! Also, we booked house from Saturday to Saturday and property manager went to knock on door and was all mad Friday saying that we already had stay over too long that we were supposed to check out before 11 am, but our check out date was Saturday not Friday and when I asked her she said Vrbo had made a mistake and that we were not supposed to stay until Saturday. She never apologized or say anything about her telling us we already had went over our stay. Property it’s super cute and very spacious, but will not be booking anything through Vrbo.

Beautiful Sierra foothill farm house!

Wonderful place to stay, fun farm experience with easy access to Sequoia NP. Beautiful, well appointed home, new and modern, stocked with everything you could need. Nissa is a fantastic host and will make you feel right at home. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Beautiful getaway

The house is absolutely gorgeous. The owner, Nissa, is kind, flexible, and welcoming. We stayed here with my two young children and my adult siblings. There was plenty of space to spread out at the house, along with an easy drive into Sequoia National Park. Nissa was particularly kind to my children and welcomed their curiosity about the farm animals that surround the house. No complaints!

Amazing Stay!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The property is absolutely gorgeous and Nissa (the host) is the sweetest! She allowed my children to feed her animals and educated us tremendously on each animal. I definitely plan on returning with my husbands family.

From the booking…to the farm fresh eggs as a welcome gift…this place is just absolutely stunning!!! We had the best time! The comfortable beds, beautiful views, awesome tour of the farm! Get your family and book this location! Peace, beauty, and fun. Anissa was just a lovely host! Who could ask for more?!

Great place to stay, loved the animals!

We all loved this property. Everything worked great, and was very comfortable and spacious for a family of 4 plus grandma. I found others' positive comments to be all true. Nissa is an amazing host, and this is a unique and fun farm with lots of interesting animals. We'd definitely come back.

Amazing house, views and farm animals

We had a wonderful time at Matanah Meddows Farm. Our kids loved looking and enjoying all the farm animals - sheep, goats, ram, ducks, chickens, dogs, especially the beautiful peacocks. The house was super neat and organized - a perfect fit for two families! We had fresh organic farm eggs for breakfast every morning. We greatly appreciated Nissa sharing her fabulous property with us!
