Overall the property was adequate for our stay. We enjoyed being on the lake with access to kayaks. Some of the property maintenance was below expectations but not a big problem to work our stay around. Parking was very tight due to the driveway being recently dugout. The lawn care was being done after checkin time along with some weed trimming. Grass trimmings were all over the fire pit area. The blind in one of the bedrooms needs to be replaced as it wasn’t able to be used/closed. Overall our stay was relaxing and enjoyable.

Disappointing experience

We've stayed at quite a few rental places and this one was quite disappointing. The oven was dirty, there was smelly trash near the deck seating area, and I found hair in the bathtub! There was minimal handwashing and drying materials as well as minimal silverware. Perhaps most disappointing was the location. It was very close to a noisy highway and adjacent to other cottages that had loose dogs and noisy neighbors. I didn't realize we were sharing a beachfront with others so it wasn't as relaxing as we hoped. The owner has been made aware so hopefully the next person has a better experience.
