We parked up the car at the back of the pub and left it there for two days because everything you need is right there. We did a great walk from the pub and bought essentials from the little shop at the campsite opposite. The food at the pub was great . I highly recommend."

"Very historic hotel in the heart of Buxton. Mary Queen of Scots stayed there and they have memorabilia to commemorate that which was really interesting. As the hotel is so old, the floors are very creaky, but we had an excellent night’s sleep and the breakfast was good. Clean bathroom. Would stay again."
