「We were delighted by the old-fashioned charm of this hotel, which has surely survived despite all the odds in the current financial climate. We booked a 'superior' double room which turned out to be enormous, the only setback being that it was up 2 flights of stairs and the second of these had very narrow steps. However the room was lovely and so was the bathroom (which had a jacuzzi!) All was nice and clean.
On one evening they had a carvery which was very popular and deservedly so. ...
「A lovely warm greeting from Tim, he gave us all the information we needed and when he found out we had to leave the following morning by 6am, he went above and beyond for us. Made sure we knew where all the breakfast bits and bobs were and gave us a demo for the hot water. Tim then proceeded to set a table up ready and waiting for us in the morning. Nothing was too much trouble for Tim, he is an excellent host, food advisor and a parking advisor too!

「We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. 」

「We had a great stay here for a few nights with the family over Easter. The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom.
We enjoyed some superb walking and there was plenty of information provided to help us find paths that didn’t show up on my internet...
「The wifi is not great. So if you are planning to have some office work, I recommend take 5G device with you. Vodafone 4G worked for us but if you sit near the window.
The cottage is nice and as advertised. However, 2 things don't do in its favor: 1) The cottage is surrounded by amazing view but the cottage itself has no view ( the windows open to the street and house opposite). It is bit boring if you plan to spend day inside or on rainy day.
2) The Clun itself has nothing much except for...
