Washington Plaza Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing time there. Staff was helpful and friendly! We were several hours early and they let us check in around 11am even though check in time was 3pm. We were able to keep our car there in their private underground parking garage as soon as we arrived which was around 6am as we explored the city and got breakfast for a few hours. Overnight parking there was $45. The pool, gym, and lobby was well kept, clean, and organized. The room was clean, and spacious. They greeted us when entering and leaving the hotel and were overall just a pleasant group of people who tried to make our stay comfortable and inviting. The location was nice as well, and within walking distance to all the major sites. We would definitely go back again!"

"Very clean room and Hotel. The staff were very friendly and super helpful. Good options for dining and bar areas. Do not need a rental car for this stay. One stop with more than a day full of options!!"

"The room and amenities were clean. The bar staff and restaurant staff were welcoming and attentive. The front desk had no welcoming personality. The building we were in had no elevator which made it hard to lift our luggage up / down the stairs. The website made it seem as if the beach chairs and umbrellas were included in the stay. They were an extra cost."

Bourbon Orleans Hotel

"Beautiful hotel right on the corner of Orleans and Bourbon. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Very clean hotel and room. Every employee was helpful and service was A+. It was our first time in NOLA. If I come back, I would definitely stay here again. Even though the hotel is right on Bourbon street, outside noise was not an issue at all, FYI."

"This is a great spot to use as home base to visit the parks. We benefited from early entrance, easy access to shuttles and a meal credit in the dining area that catered to many tastes and provided quick and easy meal options. My only quibble was that the housekeeping was not consistent. Things were clean but sometimes we didn't get facecloths or bath mats. Also not much in the way of toiletries, like body wash, are provided so you have to know to bring your own stuff."
The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando

"We booked this resort specifically because it was advertised as a resort with a waterpark. The waterpark was the entire reason we chose to stay here, as we were looking forward to our kids being able to enjoy it during our trip. Unfortunately, after arriving, we were informed that the waterpark was closed. This was extremely disappointing and should have been clearly communicated before booking or at least prior to arrival. To make matters worse, the elevator closest to our room was also out of service. Since we were staying on the 5th floor, this created a major inconvenience. We either had to walk all the way to the other side of the complex just to find a working elevator or take the stairs up and down five flights. Traveling with children made this even more frustrating. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations, especially considering the amenities we booked the resort for were unavailable. Transparency about closures and better maintenance of essential facilities would have made a huge difference in our experience."
