"Our family of six enjoyed all that Sanctuaire offers. From the cozy beds and relaxing spaces inside, to the dock, boats, hot tub and amazing views outside. The host, Nora, was very helpful and responsive, before, during and after our stay. Pretty much all you need, and more, is provided to make Sanctuaire feel like home, away from home. The thoughtful touches, like soaps, shampoo, extra toilet paper and towels were appreciated. Our dogs did not want to leave, and neither did we. Host even left us a thoughtful note and sparkling cider for our stay. This place is within a mile or more from several great wineries. I loved that there wasn't a shortage of towels, linens or pillows. Host provides free Wifi and coffee too. We look forward to returning to this beautiful house again sometime, for more celebratory moments."

"Beach was gorgeous, house was serviceable. We were in a pinch (our previous reservation was cancelled the day before we planned to leave), so we paid to stay here so we could be on the beach. (Well, 130 steps up from the beach.) The house was clean but minimally maintained. We were happy to find a back-up but definitely felt price-gouged."

"Loved the house! It’s a charming cottage. Everything as described. Spent the week (3 girlfriends) and the house worked perfectly for us. Wonderful screen porch. Beds and linens were very comfortable. We are familiar with the area and the location is convenient to everything in the area. (There is an adjacent train track so you need to be ready for the train noise a couple of times a day). Cooked at home a lot and loved having the eat in Kitchen as well as dining room."
