"Renovated hotel and well done. Rooms are big and clean. I had a bit of an issue with others across the hall, very noise into the night, not the Hotel's fault but it was disappointing. Breakfast was plentiful and reasonably priced. Parking is right beside the hotel. Over all a good hotel."

"The room was clean, quiet and spacious. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. Staff was very helpful. This hotel is supposed to be 5 stars standards, so we judge it at this level. At first sight, the hotel appears nice, however when we carefully looked at our room, we could see that certain aspects were not well maintained. It felt a bit old. Also we would have expected the hotel to provide better quality shampoo and conditioner. ( none were initially provided, so we called and were given some generic brand. They either ran out of the hotel brand or decided not to initially include them.) We also had to request fresh towels after housekeeping came. All this to say that attention to small details should be everything in 5 stars hotels."

"The Monroe was just perfect for an overnight stay in downtown Montreal Sufficiently big to not feel like a regular hotel room and kind of feel at home Front desk personal super nice We enjoyed out stay"

"Great hotel in the east end of the city close to the Big O, Botanical Gardens, Planetarium, etc. Free parking was a bonus as were the 2 pools! Will definitely keep in mind for a future visit to Montreal."
