「The room and surrounds were clean and the gardens well kept and pretty. Further afield lots of wildlife. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful with guidance about local activities and attractions. Great breakfast and evening meal, tasty and varied. Would love to revisit. Very enjoyable 3 days.」

「Could get a room as I was told they didn’t have my booking」

「Arrival at the property was disappointing. It took a while to get hold of the lodge manager , as no one was at the gate to open. Dispute notices about dangerous animals, I was still expected to get out of the car and open the gate, same at check out too. This was is irresponsible as if puts guests in danger! Property requires updating, no phone in the lodge, so guests have no way of contacting reception/ manager. Staff were accommodating, attentive and helpful. Had fish and chips for dinner,...

「Room is clean and tidy, Great for overnight stay and close to everything」

「Our stay at 57 Waterberg was truly unforgettable and easily one of the highlights of our trip to South Africa. From the moment we arrived, there was an incredible sense of warmth, hospitality, and genuine care. The lodge manages to combine a beautiful, luxurious experience with an intimate, family-like atmosphere, which is not easy to accomplish—especially in such a remote and spectacular setting. The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful. Everything feels modern, elegant, peaceful, and...

「The reserve was stunning. Saw plenty of wildlife despite relatively low game density. The food was great considering the size of the buffet. The property was nice but maybe too modern for a true safari experience. I was most disappointed that it wasn’t as family friendly as advertised. The child center was under construction, the pools were not heated, there were no activities for young children nor was there food catered towards young children. 」

「Amazing! Truly a luxury experience with top notch staff, 5 star food, and glorious surroundings. Definitely a place I would love to return to.」
