When I arrived, the phone didn't work, the two lamps didn't work, the air conditioner was leaking all over the floor. Once I reported that, management had their maintenance man come and fix all that. I was very pleased with my stay. They have a great, great restaurant next door. It was the old time great breakfast and I found no fault - it was super great!

The room was very poorly put together not like the photos at all. It also reeked of cigarettes and had a very strong smell at the front, however the staff was nice and helped out. You get what you pay for i guess.

The rooms were a little outdated, but clean . Bed was comfortable, clean sheets. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. There was even a large comfortable rocking recliner chair. I was able to park my semi truck right outside my door. Good experience

Terrible for the price I paid

Toilet was plugged. Gross. Bathroom very very small - hard to move. Bed was comfortable enough. No shampoo. Small soaps only thing provided. Towels were small Had much better experience at a different chain for much cheaper

The trash can has a Best Western logo on it and the coffee cups read Hampton, but the rooms are clean and the water pressure is strong enough to de-rust antique tractors. If you are looking for a cost-efficient place to lay your head but not much else, then this is a safe stop. I spent two nights here for a wedding and found the manager, Mr. Patel, to be attentive and accommodating. It is an older hotel covered in a fresh layer of landlord-special paint and new enough electronics (fridge, microwave, TV) to consider the room remodeled. The light they leave on for you outside the window may keep your room twilight-bright through the thin curtain, but it is a quiet sleep on a plywood-firm mattress (my preference) with thick pillows. (Laying towels across the top blocks most of the light.) Motel 6 doesn't provide shampoo/bath soap beyond a little sliver, but the front desk will provide shampoo on request. No hair dryers, iron, or breakfast provided. The coffee was hot and plentiful in the lobby and there's a decent Denny's a short drive away. Overall a good, clean, well-priced 2-star experience. I'll never be anywhere near New Boston, TX again - but if I am, I wouldn't have any problem staying here.
