The river portion of the aquarium was a nice change from the typical ocean based aquariums I am used to. I will say though, the ocean side was a bit of a let down after seeing the river side. Fun nonetheless.
Coming from California, wasn't sure what to expect. Rivers is very well done!
Great place to bring kids. I am in my twenties and my boyfriend and I enjoyed it even without the kids. It is also great walking distance to the TN river and restaurants.
Do NOT go during field trip season or mornings with field trips the kids will ruin your time in there. If their are no field trip groups its excellent
The River aquarium was better with more to look at and experience. If you can only do one (River or Ocean), choose the River. Don't park in the lot in front, go to the parking garage two blocks down by the Marriot.
