"The apartment was perfect for our 2 months stay and had everything we needed. In particular we enjoyed the morning sun and the pretty view from the deck and the private sun roof, the spacious closets in the bedrooms, the efficient heating on those colder days. Heidi, our host, was super nice and helpful and available anytime to address a few smaller issues. We can definitely recommend staying with Heidi - and we are already considering to return next spring! Thank you Heidi!"

"A gem of a hotel in walking distance of a charming town centre with plenty of places to eat. Found the food and drink in the hotel of great quality and excellent value. Going back next year."

"This is a nice hotel with lovely swimming pool, reasonably sized rooms and yummy buffet breakfast. There’s dinner buffet on three nights too at €29 pp bit with lots to choose so good value. There’s even a little boat to take you to the beach. The only ‘watch out’ is that there’s music all the time and lots of children entertainment. Unfortunately our room was close to the restaurant, which was good as my wife can’t walk far, but they did not tell us that there’s music etc every evening till 23.00. Not ideal when you’re trying to get to sleep! Also you will need a car as the hotel is quite far from town."

"Arrived checked in with no problems and shown to our room , which was a triple deluxe room. Lovely comfy beds-even the sofa bed was very comfortable! Bathroom was very spacious and towels changed daily, we had to squish a few ants but I guess you can expect that in Portugal. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. I especially liked the small plates- stops people taking huge potions and wasting lots! The dining room was lovely- not so ‘canteen like’. Highlight at breakfast was the pastel de nata- which were freshly cooked and still warm on occasions! We only used the hotel restaurant on 2 occasions but were very pleased with what we ate there. The swimming pool was lovely- great atmosphere, nice and quiet with no loud music! We were a group of 3 and could always get loungers. We made use of the free beach towels too- nice touch. We used the minibus into tavira and the beach which was great, the only criticism was the bus didn’t start early enough, run late enough or often enough, so we used Uber taxis which were cheap enough at 7-10 Euros each way. I would definitely stay here again and Tavira town is beautiful- hoping to return!"

"This was a nice place to stay in the middle of town (short 3-5 minutes to almost anything—so many great restaurants and cafes). The hotel has a lot of character, The room was nice, but definitely on the smaller side. Our room had a great view of the river and the center of town. Breakfast was free and was delicious. Parking is free but about 2 blocks away in a busy public lot on the river (away from town). Both times I parked I somehow snagged the last space there. There is another free lot not too far."
