"What a beautiful location. We would love to have stayed another couple of nights just to unplug and enjoy the tranquility. The breakfast was wonderful, I had a blueberry waffle and my husband had a breakfast burrito. Being a 200 year old building, our room had slanted floors which made the head of the bead lower than the feet, even though we noticed it was already shimmed up a bit. Plus you need to be ready and willing to lug your luggage up to the 3rd floor (no issues for us but some might want to request a no stairs option). Otherwise a lovely experience. The fire pit outside with blankets provided was really inviting. Lobster boats really do come in at about 4:30am so you’ll hear them. We loved the authentic experience!"

"Our second stay at Sailor's Valentine did not disappoint. This lovely home is beautifully situated on a lovely bay. Sitting out at the end of the wharf in the comfy chairs with a cocktail is a treat. My only criticism is that the furnishings are becoming threadbare and in need of a deep clean for us end-of-season folks."

"The common rooms were very spacious. Kitchen was well-equipped. Three distinct bedroom areas made it perfect for our group. Views were wonderful. Water access is limited at low tides. Very private and quiet location."

"Excellent vacation house. If we ever travel to this part of Maine, I’d stay here again. We spent the majority of our time in the backyard by the fire pit or down by the water. Views are amazing! Can’t thank the hosts enough for an amazing place to stay."
