Welcome to your private retreat in the picturesque fishing village of Port Clyde, Maine. This bright and thoughtfully designed 1,000-square-foot apartment offers the perfect blend of comfort, coastal charm, and adventure — especially for kayaking enthusiasts.

Nestled on a quiet property owned by Port Clyde Kayaks, this two-level apartment has its own private entrance and is perfectly situated just a quarter mile from a kayak launch, making it an ideal home base for paddlers. Though located close to the heart of the village, it offers a peaceful escape — with serene mornings and evenings.

Layout & Comforts:

The first floor features:

• A cozy bedroom with a queen bed
• A galley-style kitchen (microwave, toaster, coffee maker, air fryer)
• A bathroom with a shower
• A cozy living room — perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure
• A dining table for meals or planning your next outing

Upstairs, you’ll find:

• A spacious bedroom with one king bed and one full-size bed
• A second bathroom with a shower
• A dedicated workspace with high-speed Wi-Fi
• Plenty of closet space for your gear, clothing, or extended stays

You’ll also enjoy the Roku-enabled TV and fast wireless internet, making your stay comfortable and connected — ideal for movie nights or streaming your favorite shows.

Outdoor Space:

Step outside into the shared backyard to find a peaceful setting complete with a duck pond, Adirondack chairs, and open space to unwind. While the property is also home to some light business activity from Port Clyde Kayaks, the setting remains quiet and inviting — especially in the early mornings and evenings.

For your convenience, we have provided initial supplies of the following: linens, bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, dish towels, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, roku TV, wireless internet, and a home phone (long distance is not included) are all complimentary. While we make every effort to assure the accuracy of this listing, as well as the condition of equipment and quality of provided services, we make no implied guarantee of connectivity for wireless internet or services provided by a third party. Cell phones: Although coverage is getting better, there are some places where cell phones don't have good reception. Our property owner has a land line in case of emergency.

Weather: If you have heard it once, you've heard it a hundred times: if you don't like the weather in New England, wait a minute. It can be hot in Rockland and cool in Port Clyde so make sure to pack a variety of clothes — from a bathing suit for hot days to a sweater for cool evenings. Bugs: A lot of people ask us if we have mosquitoes...we sure do. But they aren't huge and they don't ruin a vacation. Bring some repellent, or pick some up at the local general stores and you will be fine; usually, you won't even notice them.

Very cute place with a large main bedroom, cute kitchenette, and great bathrooms. It was perfect for our weekend needs. Tamara was helpful when we had questions and even offered us a vase when she saw we had flowers.
