Plenty of parking and set in a nice area. Hotel was a little lacking and I had 24 hours notice that I wouldn't get any breakfast that I had paid for when booking. Staff were friendly and helpful though.

A nice location, good quality rooms. Shame that there was no food and no bar. When everything is back to the way it was, it will be a lovely place to stay. I feel it just needs some work to bring it up to standard.

I came back from my evening out to find 2 men stood outside my room. A member of staff and a guest. The hotel had given my room to another guest and they had placed there belonging in there. As a lone female traveller on this occasion this was very troubling. The member of staff sorted this out but it left me feeling troubled for the remainder of the night

Hotel is out of the way and on a one way system, but managed to navigate. Arrived during a party so spaces in the car park were limited. Also arrived to find signs about ANPR parking. When asked about it, was told the cameras hadn’t been fitted (signs up 3 days early) and there was nothing about a change on the property info. Staff were pleasant and the room was decent. I read reviews about issues with the ‘balcony’. We got a balcony, it’s old but safe. Lovely view, but I could see an issue being a lower level balcony room and insects, but we were on the top floor. Would stay again if in the area.

Although our room was clean and sufficient, the hotel was basically closed. There was no parking near the entrance; we had to walk with our luggage down a steep hill to enter. But the worst was that after booking B@B we got an email the day before arriving that there was no food on the premises. I feel this was false advertising on the part of hotel. I would not have booked the hotel had we known this. We had to drive into the town for dinner and again breakfast next day. I would not recommend this hotel to seniors or anyone with any mobility issues.

Very clean, very quiet, a little run down and disappointed to receive an email the day before travel that the restaurant was closed with no explanation, this made it difficult with a small child having to go elsewhere and find breakfast!

Walking into the room it smelt old really needs renovating the rooms, Bathroom could do with a good clean and remove the dust of the doors only 2 small lights working in bathroom and I don’t think extractor fan was working , the lift was out of order so it was a hike for the Mrs when she already has bad knees and difficulty walking, unfortunately I like to give a good rating but I wasn’t happy with the response treatment on arrival waiting for ages in reception to be seen
