Tehachapi Country Estate

Escape the busy life and relax in the countryside in Beautiful Tehachapi, CA. Just minutes away from downtown, wineries, and micro breweries. Enjoy lawn games like cornhole and croquet on the huge front lawn or relax poolside. 4000sq ft redwood home is light and airy. The home offers plenty of room to spread out. A large wrap around porch and sundeck with outdoor fireplace compliment the house,

Five bedrooms, 11 beds and four bathrooms are included in this two story home. Three of the bedrooms have private full bathrooms. There is a full kitchen, a large living room and a large loft area with a pool table. A gas bbq is easily accessible from the kitchen. There is an outside fireplace on the upstairs balcony.
Important Information for Your Stay
Airstreams on the Property
At certain times of the year, you may notice one or two Airstreams parked on the property. Please note that these Airstreams are not available for rent and are never occupied.

Community Respect & Noise Policy
We kindly ask that you respect our neighbors by keeping noise levels to a minimum during your stay. Loud music and parties are not permitted to help maintain a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in making our neighborhood a welcoming place.

Pool Table Guidelines
To keep the new felt in pristine condition, we ask that no drinks or children be allowed on the pool table. Spills and accidents can cause damage (we speak from experience!). Thank you for helping us maintain the table for all guests to enjoy.

Fireplace Usage
Please do not use the indoor fireplace as it can cause smoke to fill the house. We appreciate your understanding and recommend enjoying the outdoor fireplace instead for a cozy evening by the fire.

BBQs & Gatherings
Our home is ideal for barbecues, family reunions, and retreats, but we kindly ask that you avoid loud music and parties to respect our community guidelines.

Awesome place. Great for a large group. We met with 14 men for a spiritual gathering. The only issue we had was the WIFi was not working. Many in our group could not access it for their part of the conference.

Host was great! Highly responsive and acommodating. Very easy check in and check out process. Property was ideal for our family in every aspect. Signs were posted throughout the house to assist us during our stay. Kitchen was well-equipped and wifi worked very well and was much needed as surrounding areas were a dead zone for AT&T users. Overall, it was my best experience to date using VRBO properties for my vacation stays.

Amazing Getaway!

My team works on the road all year long moving from city to city inspecting utility poles with drones to prevent wildfires, thus often stay at VRBO’s. This property is above and beyond in every aspect! Chris (the owner) was extremely responsive and took care of a minor issue within two hours! The caretaker, Christine, is extremely helpful and was willing to stop by any time anything was needed. I would highly recommend this place to any group, family, friends. Really quiet neighborhood, huge beautiful property, amazing home with balconies, porches, pool table, and more!

Family vacation

Our family came to Tehachapi for our grandsons graduation, celebrating another grandsons graduation also. We enjoyed our family time together gathering on the porch, love that porch, swimming, the boys bought a badminton set and set up in the yard to play. Big kitchen to cook our meals. We enjoyed our time!!

Amazing Property

This is one of the best places I have stayed. The area is beautiful and the home was absolutely perfect for our crew of 2 families and kids. The cabin is so charming. It is not fancy and you can tell it has been well lived in. That is what made it perfect for us. Beds were super comfortable. Enjoyed mornings and evenings on that awesome porch!! Everything you need is there! We will come back again!!

Amazing Property

Beds - comfortable. Space - large. Kitchen amenities: sufficient. Bathroom amenities: above average. Tons of space. Great living room. The property... trees, gorgeous landscaping, newly paved driveway... picturesque. The basement game-room/3 bunkbed room had a dusty quality. Kitchen knives could be a tinge sharper and coffee mugs/some kitchenware could use an upgrade. We stayed during a weekend when the temp was in the 90s during the day, the heat upstairs was really felt at night. If you sleep in an air conditioned space, you may want to come during colder months. The downstairs was a non-issue and the basement was the coldest room. The pool was cold (that is statement, not a complaint), we were aware that the pool was not heated. The inside felt more like a cabin in the woods - not in the creepy way but in the what you would expect way; bugs, mosquitos, spiderwebs, patchy cell service, par internet, older appliances. All in all, this home reminded us so much of what life use to be like. It was simple and kinda amazing all in one. there were board games and lots of grass to play in. The breeze was nice. The graciously large wrap around porch served as "the place to be". Everyone in our group played in the grass, games, sports, tag, etc. There are grocery stores, restaurants, fast food places and hiking trails, all within a few minutes. Our group had an amazing time, the distance was really nice between our family members who are spread throughout California and Las Vegas. We would come back anytime (maybe in colder months; we would love to be welcomed back.)
