"Fantastic view, interior was updated and very clean. As someone who has trouble sleeping away from my own bed, the beds and pillows were great! More than sufficient basic supplies provided. Host responded quickly to communication. You won't regret booking this!"

"Very nice, clean home with lake access. Our family of 4 enjoyed the game room and big yard to play and enjoy s'mores by the fire. It was a nice, quiet Island with a lot to explore nearby when we felt adventurous!"

"House was clean and provided plenty of space for our family to have a little get away. I did not realize that there was not a dishwasher and needed to buy sponges as nothing was provided to actually wash the dishes. Towels were not in the bathrooms so had to find them in the bedroom closets. We also had a lot of difficulty getting the lock on the garage to work, it was very nice to have that space to hang out in the evenings. Our biggest complaint would be that the air conditioning was very loud (especially in the master bedroom) making it so everyone had trouble sleeping at night."

"Our stay exceeded expectations! In fact it was declared ‘the best vacation ever’ by many. It’s truly a unique property. Telling friends we had rented ‘an island’ was fun & having an entire island to ourselves was fabulous. We had 3 generations with 8 children ages 1-13. My son’s family with the 1 & 3 year olds stayed in the little house. The littles were in bed by 7 but a baby monitor (that they brought) transmitted easily to the main house allowing an evening of fun with no worry about noise! This was very unique - different from the large single houses we have rented previous summers.The island’s perimeter is very natural (stones and vegetation) - providing good fishing spots and a wonderful ‘fence’ to keep the younger ones away from the water’s edge. The spacious yard provided room for many family yard games. The lakeside deck with comfortable & functional tables & chairs became a popular gathering spot! The house is beautiful inside with an island large enough for family meals & grandchildren’s craft time. The kitchen was well equipped & 2 dishwashers and 2 washer/dryers were appreciated. A unique feature was the firepit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Nightly campfires & a breakfast cooked over the fire were amazing - a combination of modern convenience and being a part of nature. Lake activities were a delight - tubing and sunset cruises! We rented a pontoon from Spend-a-Day who kept a slip for our mainland trips. Overall a memorable week!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! We loved that the house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and comfortably accommodated our party of 6. Even more guests could have fit comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked, the communication from the host was top notch. We had one glitch at check in, but it was promptly and effectively remedied by the host. We also loved the location-we were able to dock our boat rental right in the back yard for quick, easy access to the lake every day. We loved this getaway and plan to book the same place again soon."

"My wife and I along with our 3 kids stayed here for the week and it was great for the most part! The home is older, but in fairly good shape aside from the shower(the water here has definitely taken its toll on the inside over time) and there were a couple windows that had tape on them where they’d been cracked. The backyard was where we spent a lot of our time when we were here and not out doing things and seeing places and it was awesome. Plenty of seating, a nice gas grill, outdoor lighting for after dark and decent fishing for my kids. They caught a lot of bluegill and one good sized catfish. We would definitely stay here again. The host was quick to respond if we needed anything and was friendly. I’d give this place an 8/10 overall!"
