"If you are looking for a hotel outside the usual chains, this is a great choice. We stayed for one night with my daughter and it was overall excellent. The hotel is the only one in town, it is on Main street. The town is small but the surroundings are beautiful, rolling hills, forests and lakes. The courtyard and lobby were welcoming and nicely decorated, the staff very helpful- the evening desk manager gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Frank's place a few minutes away. The room was clean and the furnishing was fine, the beds were comfortable, the place was quiet (our room overlooked the courtyard). The breakfast is included, it is quite copious but I was surprised that there was no bread. There is a covered parking and free wifi."

"Excellent property for our large multigeneration family. We have stayed at many similar sized properties and this one ranks with our favorites. Lot's of bedrooms/sleeping options and plenty of room for different activities at the same time. Beds and furniture were comfortable with many reading nooks and napping options. Well appointed and stocked kitchen. Most impressed with the dining table. First time our entire family could eat together at one table. Lot's of water activity options with reasonable restrictions for this charming little lake. Area offers many options (hiking trails, berry picking, etc.) in a beautiful setting with easy access to shopping/services. Our hostess, Julia, was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We especially appreciate her flexibility during the booking process."

"Our family group of 18 had a wonderful time here. The house is amazing-so many interesting things to see! We enjoyed the pond and boats, caught a few fish-mostly little crappies, but also a pickerel and a bass, and mostly ate on the great porch overlooking the pond. Despite a few glitches with alarms, everyone agreed that it was one of our best vacations."
