「We had a great 3 night stay at Guest Mar. The staff were super friendly and helpful - the breakfast was delicious and it was very handy to be able to use the kitchen throughout the day. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Space was a bit tight in our room, but it was workable. We made use of the shared spaces - rooftop, kitchen and reading room. All in all a lovely guesthouse.」

「We had an amazing stay at Vila Milreu! We were made to feel very welcome even when we arrived really late. The staff are brilliant and extremely friendly. The hotel is gorgeous, especially the pool area. The grounds are beautiful. The whole hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious and filling with plenty of different foods to choose from. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we were in the area.」

He has been developing this facility for two years and it now offers a pool and fitness/work out space as well as a large common room with a veranda, pool table and sofas. 「If you are a beach lover (perfect beach sunset) and visiting faro this would be my top recommend place to stay! However I would suggest calling the Guesthouse directly and booking through them rather than booking through Expedia!! The guesthouse staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed to make my stay just perfect, they were extremely polite and helpful, the place was VERY clean and comfortable and as a solo traveler I always felt safe here, also the food and drinks...
