Mountain Chalet Style Cabin Two Miles from Slopes

Even though you are less than 2 miles/5 minutes from the ski slopes, you feel like you are in a mountain house away from the world while you are lounging by the fire or enjoying the deck that looks out over a beautiful acre and the greenbelt. Our street has no access to another street so it is peaceful and safe for little ones. Whether the kids are sledding down the hill or you are enjoying the view with a glass of wine with friends or family, our house will be able to accommodate the vacation you are looking to create. The house has 3 rooms with total sleeping accommodations up to 8 people. The cabin has 2.5 bathrooms and a robust kitchen. We have a living room downstairs and a loft living room upstairs. Both living areas have televisions with an Amazon Firestick. You just need to provide groceries. We have dining/seating for up to 10 people. Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway with solitude and tranquility or a place to hike, bike, sled or ski, you have found the right place! A nearby Country club allows public access and has facilities with tennis, indoor swimming pool, gym, golfing and fishing. Welcome to Casa Quivera in Angel Fire!

Beautiful and cozy

Everything in this house works perfectly. It’s pretty, clean, functional and with that lovely forest feeling you are looking for when you visit Angel Fire. Plus, Tracy, the host is very responsive.

Great location

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our needs - just the right size and number of beds/rooms. Kitchen was complete. There were plenty of games for family activities. They had some land so kids were able to play around the house. Location is perfect if you want to go to angel fire. Hosts were very responsive to questions. We would choose this place again next time.

We enjoyed our time at this home. It is 30-60 min driving distance to all the ski resorts in the area. We were able to go to the ski resort that had the best snow easily. The house has every thing we needed for cooking, entertainment, and we felt like everything you might need was readily available.

Updated cabin in Angel Fire

This property was very clean and had been updated recently. We found most of the basic kitchen items. The grill needed to be cleaned very badly and did not have propane so we did not use it, but there were plenty of nice cooking pans and pots inside. We enjoyed the hiking trails that were accessible from the back of the property. Our kids loved the space behind the house. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay, would love to stay here again!

Peaceful, Quiet, and Beautiful Home Away From Home

This house was exactly what was advertised and so much more! So much peace and beauty to be found lounging on the patio with a drink and book. With an easy walking path just a few feet behind the back of the house, it was no problem to take a daily walk or even explore the area. You feel seamlessly immersed in nature. In fact, one of my favorite moments was when a doe and her baby walked right passed the patio out back! My 8-year-old son so enjoyed seeing the animals up close! This house was clearly updated recently! The kitchen was fully stocked and made for great place to cook and enjoy evening meals. We also enjoyed using the loft to watch an evening movie (or basketball game). All-in-all, I can't say enough great things about staying here. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing family get-away. And close to other places in NM, like Taos, to enjoy more of what NM has to offer!
