Very cute place, perfect for a couple. I felt like we had everything we needed. Plenty of towels and shower gel and 2in1. We didn’t use the kitchen but it looked like it had everything u would need to make meals. Highly recommend, especially because it’s so close to everything fun

We came up to hike and paddleboard and found the location perfect for easy access to both. The property was within walking distance of downtown, although there isn’t a sidewalk for part of the way. Our place was clean, quiet, and cozy. It was on the smaller side, with two double beds in one room, but for just two and our dog, it was just the right size. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The bungalow was very cozy and well thought out for the most part. The shower drain was uncovered, and it could have been hazardous for a child. The shower was luxurious but could have used a shelf. And the front board on the top step was split and looked kind of iffy. Other than that, it was a wonderful location, and we enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was quaint and well-maintained for being older. Plenty of space for 4 of us an our small dog. The kitchen was well-stocked, but the coffee pot did not work as intended. We did not make a complaint so not holding that against them. It was a bummer to not have coffee each morning. The beds were comfortable and the make-shift air conditioning units works well. We also had windows open most of the time as it was cool outside and at times rainy. We didn't cook at the cabin, but there were plenty of things for cooking. There was a gas grill on the patio (you need to buy the gas cylinder), and stove, microwave, and full sized fridge. We bought a bag of ice as there was just one small tray to make ice. The dishes were nice and it was amazing to even have a dishwasher! Plenty of towels and washclothes available. The shower had amazing water pressure and got hot just like you would expect. The heat throughout the place worked great too. We also enjoyed the electric fire place. It had a great ambience and put out good heat as well. There was no lake view and that was somewhat of a bummer. The cabins are not lake front. They sent on the other side of the road and there are beautiful lake front homes directly across which impedes any view of the lake. Parking was ample and the area was quaint. Overall, we would recommend this for a fun getaway. We are from Boise, ID so we drove up for the holiday weekend. We had fun and would go again!

The cabin was absolutely adorable. Rustic but with a big screen tv that we could watch from the couch AND the bed. We're not big tv people but after a long day of driving and too late to walk the lake we dove into the comfy bed with super linens and pillows. Kitchen was perfect and a view of the lake from our front porch was divine. We'd stay again in a second!!

Loved the cute and cozy feel of the cabin. The electric fireplace gave a nice ambience and really warmed the place up. Our only issue was that the refrigerator froze many of our food items. Looks like it’s due for a tuneup or a replacement. And there were only three spoons. Maybe add a few more?

Gingerbread houses!

Cute little gingerbread house of a cabin. Cabin 5 is adorable and a tiny studio. TV is big and well positioned to relax in bed and watch it. Nice and cozy in the foot of snow that fell while we were there. Would absolutely stay there again! The only thing I wish could have slightly changed was providing a bigger green towel for the ground or a boot tray for our snowy boots so we could clean up melted snow a little better.

The management was very accommodating to our needs. We were in bungalow 5 and it had no storage..as soon as i commented on it they moved us to a bigger bungalow. Very cute and rustic..the beds were comfortable..my only complaint is the appliances..they definitely need updated.

Cozy but needs a few fixings

The floor is very uneven, almost tripped several times. Coffee pot hadn’t been cleaned and was very old and stained. Toilet flapper kept coming off and my husband would fix it. It was very cozy and relaxing though.

Our stay at The Ponderosa (Classic 2-Bedroom) was very pleasant overall. The cabin has a great rustic charm that makes for a cozy getaway. However, the kitchen could definitely use a bit more attention to detail regarding cleanliness—specifically, the stove gave off a strong burning smell when we tried to use it. It is a lovely spot, but the kitchen upkeep needs a little work.
