Pros: Freshly renovated room, spacious, clean, has a full kitchen, has a laundry machine available if you need it. Has a lounge area available in the afternoons (Did not get a chance to use it). Had breakfast there for one morning and the breakfast staff was nice and friendly. Check-in and check-out were smooth.
Cons: Unfortunately, I was here for two typhoon days. During these two days, the front door was closed and blocked off to prevent wind and water damage (understandable). Hotel guests were asked to use a side/back door to exit and enter. No problem exiting that door since it can be opened from the inside with a wave of a hand. The problem was coming back in. I was told to press a "call button" to request to come in. Every time I came back to the hotel and did so, the staff opening the door always had a "what do you want/need" face and I always had to show my hotel key for them to acknowledge and let me in. It was honestly the weirdest experience for 2 days. Probably better training or SOP when hotels guests are required to use the back/side door entrance. Either leave the door open or train staff to ask if the person is a hotel guest instead of blocking the door with a "what do you want/need" facial expression.
