Lots of good dining options esp the Miyahara Eye Cream n the Pig Trotters. Lots of convenient stores n eateries besides above 2 mentioned. Very conveniently located within few minutes walk to TMS. Will book again.

Front desk staff were smiley, helpful and know the stuff in giving tips and guide on how to get around in Taichung and how to get to Tainan. I highly recommend Palmer Hotel and commend the front desk staff for excellent service.

Highly recommend for the cost

Probably one of the best stays I’ve ever had in Taichung. Great location and priced competitively. Nearby transit and Ubike can take you pretty much everywhere within the city.

The hotel is not that near with the train station but since our aim is to go to sun moon lake, this hotel is perfect. Just a bit of walking distance from the shuttle bus pick up point to sun moon lake.

Security issues but generally fine

Standard no-frills hotel which was generally fine. Decently-sized room and our bathroom was huge, although we suspect it to be an anomaly as it was at the end of the hallway. However, security could be vastly improved as the lift does not require an access card at all, and anyone can just walk in and the front desk wouldn’t be able to see as the desk is higher than their line of sight when sitting down.

Although the reviews were bad, it wasn’t the worst. Definitely worth the price. The park a couple blocks away was so beautiful, the fish, ducks and ability to row a boat on the water was so nice. The hotel it’s is a bit strange, the staff are not very friendly, they we’re constantly calling my room for different reasons, the rooms very humid, you CANT flush your toilet tissue (which is nasty) who wants to walk into the rest and see pooped toilet paper, they have you sign a waiver for cost of blankets if you spill something on them, and they will charge you for any toiletries if you forget them but give them to locals for free. The breakfast was worth the price, but was WAY too early! Who wants to wake up at 6-9:00 on vacation and the type of food was blah! A review I read was correct they don’t offer separate utensils for the butter or jam so everyone is touching it. On a plus there are no roaches and a 17 minute walk to a BIG night market with great food. If on a budget this is a good deal but nothing to write home about.

Gute Lage, ruhig, gut geschlafen

Aufenthalt Mitte Mai. Großes, sauberes Zimmer, gute Betten. Bad mit Dusche, ausreichend groß, sehr sauber. Mitarbeiterinnen sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, mit guten Englischkenntnissen. Gutes Frühstück. Sehr zu empfehlen!

二度目の滞在。一度目は一か所虫に刺され、蚊かなと思いましたが、二度目の今回は線状に何十か所も刺されたので虫の駆除が必要だと思います。トイレに紙が流せません。使い捨てスリッパがロビーに置いてあります。チェックイン及びチェックアウトの際、こちらが確認しない限り、スタッフはほぼ言葉を発しません。ロケーションはバスや台鉄を使うのに至極便利です。夜市も歩いて十数分の場所にあります。

中規中矩的商務飯店，用不到千元的價格入住含早餐的雙單房型，很划算；房間沒有太多佔空間的家俱，所以兩個登機箱都能打開；早餐的用餐環境很寬敞，餐點也能夠滿足需求，下回若再找離火車站近距離的飯店，會再選擇它。

台鉄台中駅から徒歩10分程度。チェックイン時は日本語で対応いただいた。部屋は広めで使いやすいく、Wifiの接続も良い。ウォシュレットは無く紙を流せないタイプのトイレ。シャワー圧は良く、ベッドの寝心地も良かった。総合的に価格を考慮しつつ再度宿泊したい。
