The best thing about it were the people who looked after me and were beyond helpful before I arrived arranging my airport pick up, waiting for me when my baggage got lost and taking me back to the airport to collect it. 「This was an absolutely stunning property. The location, the views, the property itself, the breakfasts and the service were all 5 star. One of the best properties that I have ever stayed at.
Only drawback some may find is that it is a bit out of the way - but with dinner transportation to the CBD and waterfront included and a distance of only 10 minutes. 」
「Lovely hotel with fabulous artwork everywhere. Personalized service 24/7. The staff was friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to add special touches. Turndown service was especially impressive. Good location: ubers from Derwent to most attractions were under $6 per trip. Highly recommend!」
「Only stayed here for one night but it was lovely.
Upon arrival we were welcomed with a drink and good conversation and then shown to our room. The house is beautiful and the on street parking was safe. We walked down the road for dinner and felt safe during the day doing so.
Would recommend and stay here again.

「Celebrated my 40th birthday here and it was one of the best hotel experiences ever. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable, they felt more like family. The property is breathtaking and beautiful. The pictures do it very little justice. They offer breakfast every morning and it was very tasty. The property was extremely clean and quiet. It’s situated in a very convenient location, we opted to uber everywhere and the drivers had no problem finding the hotel. I can’t wait to visit Sea Star Rock...
