"The hotel was lovely with spacious guest rooms with lots of luxurious details. The room lacked practical facilities like a place to put your clothes or suitcases which meant it looked cluttered all the time. The front desk staff were pleasant when they were there but seldom were able to be helpful. We were told that none of the restaurants on the property were open despite their posted hours, there was no option to send out laundry and even that there were no umbrellas available to borrow..."

"Hotel staff was very friendly on check-in, lobby area very clean and neat, but dates some, especially including look of mix of furniture in lobby lounge area. Room was small, however nicely appointed with all I needed. The hallways of the hotel were immaculate and sparkled. The bathroom was very clean, however the room itself needed a serious deep edge-vacuuming. Dust could be seen along the edges of room and under the nightstand opening at the floor. Breakfast buffet offered multiple choices,..."

"Amazing hotel. I got the cheapest room, so the view from my window was an adjoining wall, but the hotel is built on a hill, providing dazzling views of Nagasaki. Splendid place. As to drawbacks, my only complaint is that it is located in an area without nearby restaurants, bars, or even convenience stores. The same isolation that makes it so quiet and grand also means it'll be a fifteen minute, minimum, walk to any businesses. So you do need to be signed up for the hotel's meal plan, or else..."
