NEW! Ready for Families and Business Travelers
10/10 Excellent
"My family and I booked this rental for the holidays and we really enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable which is very important to us and the amenities were great for our week stay. We also loved how close we were to the wake forest and Raleigh area. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. We did have some issues with the homes thermostat that left us a bit uncomfortable at times but the host was very attentive and helpful with fixing the issue."
"Where do I start?
- paint peeling off the walls, water stains on the ceilings (wish I could share pictures, it was bad)
- the dishwasher was not even fastened in which made the door very hard to open. The whole unit rocked back and forth.
- the washing machine did not work. Spin cycle did not work so we had to deal with soaking wet clothes.
- the deck furniture was extremely wobbly, nobody would sit on the chairs.
- the very small couch was extremely uncomfortable and needs to go in the trash. And the TV was kinda useless. No basic cable, just a bunch of apps that needed to be signed in to.
- the shower head in the master bathroom leaked spraying water onto the wall. So much so it peeled the paint. I contacted management about it. First, they would “have someone there between 7-7:30 PM on Saturday night”. Nobody showed, no word from management. Then I got a text it would be Sunday morning between 9-9:30 AM. Nobody showed, no word from management. So I hand tightened it myself. Then they messaged Tuesday night and said they were going in while we were out. They actually came and “found no issues”. The whole thing was weird.
There is nothing “luxe” about this place. Like I said, if I could share pictures and videos of everything I would.
I contacted management and told them all this as well. Someone needs to go into this unit and look at it from the eyes of a family on vacation. I would be embarrassed to have someone stay here if it were my place.

Homestead Retreat on 1.5 Acres: Spa, Gym, Firepit, Chickens, King Suite, Pets
10/10 Excellent
"The host was fantastic. Very responsive during the reservation process and during our stay. The home is EXTREMELY clean and there are instructions and guides to help you in the home. The home is on a dead end street. So think quiet and relaxing. The house has a gym, incredible coffee and espresso maker, slushee maker and foot massager. The kitchen is better stocked with kitchen cooking ware and tools than my home. We made omelettes with the fresh chicken eggs! Much better than the Quality Inn free breakfast. We did not use the hottub or outdoor fire out, but the set up was nice and all looked in good condition. We just did not have enough time. And the chickens are a joy. We had fun just watching them run around in their coop. I highly recommend the Homestead. You won’t be let down."
NEW Basement Loft Close to All Things Raleigh/Wake
10/10 Excellent
"The property was great. clean quiet neighborhood, with friendly neighbors. just what I needed for a 6 week stay between houses. the owner was available to answer questions, and came by several times to blow off leaves!"
"Absolutely perfect stay! Location is amazing, secluded and quiet yet 5 minutes from anything you need. The home is fantastic, with super comfy bed/linens, plush towels and snuggle throws. The kitchen island is perfect, back patio coffee breaks were great. We loved everything!!!"
