Lovely place to stay at an ideal place in the historical part of Syracuse (Ortygia), quiet but at a walking distance of everything there is to see or do. Helpful staff and clean room. Also a good breakfast buffet, with an amazing view of the harbour and when we couldn't make breakfast the second day due to having to catch an early train we got some fruit instead, so we can only thank the staff again for their flexibility. Would definitely recommend!

The staff was friendly and attentive. They were able to arrange a car for us back to Catania when our other travel option was no longer convenient. Breakfast was delicious. The breakfast terrace has great views. The location is fantastic. It is right on the harbour as you enter Ortygia. The AC and TV worked fine. The hotel needs a deep cleaning and a paint job. The toilet needed repairs. The terrace off our room needs a deep cleaning, fresh paint and the plants need maintenance. These 3 things dissapointed us as the current state of the hotel is not represented in the photos.

Great location. Nice room with good bathroom amenities. Lovely breakfast with a view on the terrace. The personnel were also really friendly. The only negative was noise spill since our room was just off the reception, but the property was generally quiet in evenings till morning so it didn’t disturb our sleep too much.

Extremely lovely room with high ceilings and big windows. We had a corner room with views of the water from either balcony. There is a very nice terrace above available to all guests with great views and a place where you can watch sunset. It's also where they serve an amazing breakfast with lots of variety including coffee/tea, several cold juices, fresh fruit, freshly baked treats, canoles, boiled eggs, yogurt, bread, cheese, jam, etc. Very impressive. Great location close to shops, restaurants, and the market. Good air conditioning and Wi-Fi was not the fastest but sufficient. One negative is that our bathroom always seemed to have an unpleasant (sewer) smell coming from the shower drain as though the piping system is lacking a trap. Ortigia in general seemed to have an issue with its sewage system as we'd notice unpleasant smells while walking the streets occasionally as well. Overall very pleased with our stay.

Lovely hotel.

Lovely little hotel with bags of charm and hospitality. Cannot fault the staff for their help and friendliness. Breakfast while overlooking the harbour was delightful. Would love to come back and stay longer next time.

This hotel has a family atmosphere starting from breakfast on wonderful terrace with a sea port view, very tasty fresh food and personal, that care you very personal. And all together match the historical locations around. Just to recommend for visiting.

We had such a lovely room, the private patio was gorgeous with many health plants and panoramic views of Ortigia. We could see the city on the right and the sea on the left. With the wooden table & chairs we had a lovely breakfast out there with a view and we were able to catch a beautiful sunset on our first night without having to leave. The staff made us feel comfortable and welcome, and the room was very clean & quiet. We would absolutely come back again.
