"I was happy with the booking. The proprietor was communicative. The property was clean and quite charming. I was at a conference the whole time and had little chance to see the area, but the few glimpses I caught were beautiful. NB - There is a gas stove and my partner left the burner on, which could have been bad - so make sure you turn the burner off! "

"The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor"

"The location is spectacular, and Thomas, the host is amazing.Everyone is very friendly, on the saturday night, there was a local band playing at the venue; could not have ordered a better stay.We will definitely stay here again."

"What a beautiful place to stay, right on the water with all amenities to enjoy your stay. Comfortable furniture and beds, the fireplace is beautiful as is the screen room. "It was just as we expected and what we wanted—-a quiet remote place—-with more birds than people! We were so lucky with the weather too….water out front and a lovely breeze most of the time. We brought food in and enjoyed fresh fish and relaxing times. We slept well with nearly all the windows open for the night air. The tide came in and we kayaked a little out front. Super quaint place to stay. Thank you so much Marcie for the hospitality—-including eggs and veggies! P.S. we left “Flat Butchie”, my adventurous brother who passed a few years back—-he loved Nova Scotia and would have liked that place—so he stayed in the front room"
