Cosy Manly Beach Hideaway

  • Manly Beach Hideaway is a block from Manly beach and one block from the lagoon. A peaceful seaside escape with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and smart tv in both the living room and upstairs loft which includes Netflix, Apple TV, Prime, Kayo and more. Bbq provided on the front balcony as well which I highly suggest using during sunset while the lorikeets head to bed in the surrounding trees. Outdoor deck chairs provided for a morning tea/coffee or winding down at the end of the day.

    The space is situated with 2 bedrooms and an upstairs private loft that serves as the third bedroom, rumpus room or extra living space for your enjoyment. Large kitchen, bay windows and front balcony. A leisurely two minute stroll puts your feet in the sand at Manly Beach.

    Additional amenities - coffee maker along with provided tea and coffee, laundry room with washer/dryer (detergent provided) beach umbrella and putting green in upstairs loft. Netflix, Prime, Apple TV, Kayo and free to air available on both smart tvs. Heating and AC throughout.

Very family friendly, especially if for young children. Great range of books and games in the cupboards upstairs.Only one bathroom did cause a few issues with 6 adults. Oven was practically unusable, fan function did not work and neither did the grill. It took ages to preheat on convection and is very old and not clean.The beds were quite comfortable, pillows very comfy. Shower very powerful - as were all the water outlets. Shower does let water out so make sure you have a towel and mat down each time it’s used as floor is extremely slippy when wet.Laundry facilities good, all simple to use.Stairs up to apartment were slippery when wet - take care.Kitchen was well stocked but crockery had all seen better days.Fabulous location but even with a parking permit be prepared to walk some distance to find a parking spot. Overall a very dated accommodation that was surface clean, convenient location and comfortable.
