"We felt like family here! This was our second stay - our first stay was five years ago - and it was every bit as home-like, friendly, comfortable, affordable, and beautiful as before, even with troubles like COVID and economic difficulties having taken place in the meantime. The breakfast menu included with our room had diverse options, and the quality was excellent. Although this property welcomes dogs, we did not hear barking nor see messes anywhere…we enjoyed seeing the beautifully behaved...

"The room we had was very adequate and above all it was quiet as it faced onto a graden and did not from the very busy road the hotel is located on. The room service was excellent, the room and its fen suite bathroom were kept clean and any requests were met fully. We were happy with the room and the service. It was difficult for us to get in initially as we arrived after 6 pm because of plan delays and our mobile phones were not working well in Australia as we had not yet been able to adjust...

"This has become our regular place for short stays in Sydney. Yes, it's an older property but it's great value for the price - simple but comfortable, very clean, so quiet at night - and the location is excellent. You can walk to the beach in ten minutes, catch the bus to Bondi Junction literally outside the front gate, and there are loads of restaurants and cafes within a five minute walk. Friendly staff, free secure parking and a nice retro vibe thrown in too (love the palms and hibiscus and those original 1960s bathroom tiles). We enjoy it every time we stay and will return quite happily in future."
