We actually didn’t end up staying. We arrived and the lovely girl behind the bar was on her own and didn’t know we were coming and didn’t know what to do. She called the manager and finally got through, who said she would pop back and to give us a room key.whilst she was trying to call the manager she asked us to sit in the bar and have a drink ( not on the house)! We went to our room. There was no cups or mugs, no milk the tv remote wasn’t working , when you opened the wardrobe it hit one of the ceiling lights. There was bare wires round one of the light fittings . There was no bedside tables, there was fixings on the walls for pictures but none up, they were in fact down beside the wardrobe! I went downstairs to ask for some mugs, milk etc. The poor girl was still on her own and said she would tell the manager when she came in of my concerns. I went back to the room and realised there was no working light outside our bedroom door so had to knock for my partner to let me in as I couldn’t see the lock. We sat for about another 10 mins and decided to leave as it was worse than fawlty towers! This was meant to have been £65 . I would advise to steer clear of this establishment!!
