Good sized property but unfortunately seems to suffer from damp. The bedding, towels, sofas and cushions were all damp. We had to use the blankets off the beds to sit on so not to feel it. Any clothes left out of our cases also ended up feeling damp every day so not great. Property had dehumidifiers in all rooms but they were completely full of water so did nothing at all to help!
Oven had no markings on the switches so we had no idea how to use it. I had to turn them all on and hope for the best.
The bed my daughter slept on broke at one point because the slats were not fitted properly. She had to sleep the other way round just to be on the safe side.
If you have no car like we didn't, the road the property is on is VERY steep and quite a way up so hard work, especially with suitcases in tow. There is a taxi rank near the train station and bus stops on the road which could be useful. Also, steps up to the front of the property are also very steep so you need to be fit.
Fab chip shop nearby though but unfortunately, due to our experience, we would not recommend this property.
