As always, Knoll House Hotel was amazing. It made be a little tired around the edges in some places but was spotlessly clean with welcoming staff and great atmosphere. Unbeatable location, great breakfasts and comfy beds.

Great location and excellent room and breakfast Given the amazing weather we had no need for the pool but don’t think its right to charge for using it

An old property with loads of history and stunning views. We had a lovely room straight into the garden for our dog. Breakfast was great but we didn’t have dinner in the hotel. Great position for amazing walks. Most of the staff were really helpful but a couple let the side down!

It was wonderful, the bed was incredibly comfortable and real value for money with the breakfast, we would definitely come again. The only down side was that the car park was a bit hit and miss, a lot of the space said no parking.

The Knoll House Hotel is a charming hotel which was once a personal residence. It has a lot of history and is in a delightful location overlooking the sea. There are several comfortable seating areas of various sizes and styles. The restaurant is very large and the food and service is very good. The breakfasts are particularly enjoyable with a plentiful range for self-service. The outdoor swimming pool was heated, despite it being October when we stayed there. There is also a small indoor pool in the pleasant modern leisure complex. Dinner was a minimum of £34 per person plus a 10% gratuity. The wine and other drinks were expensive and also incurred the 10% charge. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Very traditional hotel with history displayed. We had a room 131 located at the rear of the main hotel which we found just right. Location is convenient for NT’s Knowl Beach.

We have stayed here before & loved this place. This time we were disappointed this with the room allocated room 012. It was small with a sloping ceiling and an uncomfortable bed... more suited for single occupancy. We didn't ask to be moved but in hindsight should have given Knoll House the opportunity to relocate us. We would stay again but insist on a room worthy of the £200 spend.

A unique and charming place by the sea. The position is everything here and it is a delight to sit on the terrace with a drink looking at a Riviera view through the pines to Studland bay. Smart room, lots of varied public spaces. Great for children (though we didn't come with ours!) and a very good breakfast.
