"Terrible…. The whole house smelled bad and the bathroom wasn‘t clean.. the fridge hat to be locked with a worden stick… Not recommended…. an impudence…"

"Nice little cottage surrounded by forest but minutes from downtown Amal. A few extra steps to book, but nothing difficult. Modern interior, fully stocked kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and coffeemaker, king size bed, strong AC in the main room, nice hot shower. Bring your own linens and towels, they are not provided. Indoor bathroom has a camp toilet, easy enough to figure out. FYI, parking is about 80 feet from the cottage, no driveway or sidewalk. I would definitely stay again."

Ligger bredvid massabruk, så det luktar inte så gott ute (men man vänjer sig snabbt). Luktade unket inomhus (tog lite längre tid att vänja sig). Diskmaskinen trasig. "Amal is a good location for exploring the lakes. There a couple of ok places to eat out, but not as many as I'd have liked. Definitely a base rather than a location. Hotel is in an older building and decorated sympathetically. Our room had plenty of space, but no tea or coffee making facilities."
