Great House

This home was great and fitted all eight of us guys very comfortably and accommodated all of our needs. The kitchen was great and well-stocked, with all we needed to cook all of our meals. If we ever take another golf trip to Atlanta we will definitely stay here again.

Perfect house for our large group

This house worked out perfectly for our group of 16 with plenty of bedrooms and sleeping space. House was well stocked with everything you could need and the check in process was very easy. The house was located right next to a walking trail and close to grocery stores. We had lots of room to spread out and visit with family. Would highly recommend!

Good House for Family Reunion

We stayed here with multiple family units for a family reunion, and really enjoyed all being able to stay in one place! One of the bedrooms is a "cut through" between two parts of the house, but that was workable. The owner was helpful in giving us more info about the rooms before we got there. Having 2 kitchens (and refrigerators) was very helpful!

Short towels

Only thing wrong was insufficient towels. Had th go buy them. Two bed rooms only had one set of towels for two guests. We also ran out of dishwasher detergent. Overall a good stay.

Wedding Weekend Stay

Everything with this property was amazing! We stayed here for our wedding weekend and were able to host a series of get togethers as well as have room for everyone to comfortably rest and not be in the way. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

Pleasant Stay

The property is beautiful and private which we loved. We did wish there had been a bigger communal dining table so we could have all gathered in one space, but we made it work with the addition of two card tables that we brought. It has a wonderful kitchen - the appliances were wonderful, but it was severely under appointed. No serving bowls, one mixing bowl, one frying pan and an odd mix of flat baking pans and utensils. There were several scuff marks, etc on walls, so it had a somewhat unclean appearance. It appears to be a home that has had an addition, so the set up is a little odd, but very functional for our group of 18.We enjoyed our time there.

LMO Celebration of Life

Family members from many different states joined at this beautiful home and property for a Celebration of Life ceremony. The home was beautifully appointed and met all the needs for our large group. 20 of us from 3 years old to 80 loved our stay. Plans were made for a return visit to take advantage of the properties great location. Close to Lanier Islands, Helen, Mall of Georgia, Stone Mountain, Falcons, Hawks, Braves, Atlanta United games and downtown Atlanta to name a few. Everyone enjoyed the house and we would definitely recommend for a large group.

Great place for family gathering

I hosted my nieces and nephews, and their children for a first time family gathering. There were 14 of us, between ages 57 and 4 years old. It was a great opportunity for all of us to connect. We had enough space for everyone to move around and sleep comfortably.

Great house for large family

We have 8 kids and 6 grands and its often hard to find a house big enough. This one completely fit the bill. Pleanty of sleeping areas and multiple family seating throughout. We never felt on top of one another. A SHOUT OUT TO THE OWNER.. When we arrived there were not enough towels or glassware for a group our size. She was super responsive and solved both issues immediately

Amazing home

I booked this house for the week of my wedding for my bridal party. I wanted everyone to have their own space, a door they could close and decompress because it was going to be hectic and that is exactly what I got. I’m so grateful! The home was beautiful, we had space to lounge and relax.

Fun wedding weekend

Clean property and spacious for the family getting ready for wedding. Everyone commented about how well decorated and fantastic it was for the group. Master bedroom and bathroom were huge. Communication with property owner was fantastic and accommodating. This is a fantastic home to rent. Outside space was beautiful neighborhood with walking paths.

Could Have Been Better.

My family and I rented this property to celebrate our mothers 80th birthday. We were pleased with the house for the most part. As previous renters have reported, the size was great. The house is spacious and the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms were just what we needed. The outside was lovely and my family enjoyed using the pool. However, I was surprised to find some issues, especially since I made it a point to keep in touch with the host on more than one occasion to stress how important it was to me and my family that the house be meticulously clean. Ex. One bathroom had a filthy shower curtain liner, someone left a dirty t-shirt in one of the rooms. There was trash in the living room couch and we discovered one of the bedrooms was not prepared when we arrived. Though this was certainly not acceptable, these were issues we could work around. What was most upsetting to me and my family was how the host entered the house during our weekend there completely unannounced. I asked if this was her usual practice and I was told it was not she apologized for the intrusion. Hmmm. Why? I would have liked to be able to say that our stay at this property was great, sadly it was not. Could have been better.

Birthday Retreat

This home is a million dollars plus and beautiful, but the maintenance of this home is below standard. The first thing I saw upon arriving and yes I was in total SHOCK was a used mattress and box spring outside under the carport. Another major issue was the trash, each bin was overflowing leaving my group no where to place our trash but in the garage as instructed by owner. The reason why this was an issue, because the owner sent us specific do’s and dont’s about the trash and if we didn’t adhere to them we will get fine. We had no issues with the rules, but it was very contradicting since she didn’t take care of her part with empty trash bins. FYI - Trash didn’t get picked up until Tuesday and we arrive on Friday. Massive amount of flies in patio area At this point, that was strike 2 and I haven’t went inside. I used to have a home cleaning business, so I definitely know when a home is cleaned and this home is definitely not cleaned properly. Issues in the inside of home: 1. Refrigerator was dirty- food leftovers 2. Coffee pot was dirty 2. The oven was dirty 3. The shower curtain in hall bathroom had mildew 4. The floors look clean but if walking on them with no shoes your feet will be filthy 5. The downstairs bathtub had a dirt ring around it 6. Several air vents were full of thick dust 7. The bathroom knob in upstairs bedroom did not work. My guest was locked in bathroom until we heard her screaming. 8. Comforters was left all over closet floor in master bedroom 9. Linen left in both dryers 10. The kitchen is poorly stock. 11. The house sleep 20 but only can accommodate 6 at the dining room table. So, each night my group was split up for dinner. Just to name a few things. The final straw for me rating this house low, was the cleaning lady did come out on Friday with some guy to address our concerns but at this point all of my guest were present and we had cleaned the kitchen ourselves. She was there for 2 plus hours (not sure what she was doing) and did not leave until my husband asked her to around 10:30pm. This was totally uncomfortable for my guest and unacceptable since I was paying to spend time with my love ones and NOT paying for her to finish what she didn’t do earlier. In my opinion the owner need to re-invest in her property with a professional cleaning service, restock the kitchen with the necessary essentials and hire another trash service. Thank you

A UGA Graduation Celebration

We returned home yesterday from the best staycation ever! My family & I, a total of 17 had a very enjoyable stay. The host was fantastic! Thank you so much for opening up your lovely home.The property is superb, beautiful, extremely spacious and clean its like a home away from home, the house was well stocked we had everything we needed, the location was perfect. We definitely will be back.

Room for improvements

There are so many great things about this house. It is perfect for the big group bookings, a getaway where location is exceptional, the room to roam outside the property, and close to many things to do. We spent 5 nights there and we enjoyed ourselves a lot, we had 10 adults and 10 kids aged 1-7 years old and the fact we got to spend two whole days just outside playing on the long driveway and hilly front yard was one highlight. However, we had a very bad experience when it comes to cleanliness of the property. After a long 9 hour drive from where we came from, we were greeted by the cleaning housekeeping lady saying she was all alone and will try to finish up quickly , this was at 4pm. 4 hours later, house keeping was done. Was it an inconvenience, a little yes, but understandable however it was not what we expected. Then we have one bedroom with blood stained sheets and linens (we immediately put in wash), housekeeping and host offered to return and get them changed but it was already 10pm and we did not want that. We also find a leftover lingerie piece under an unused couch in the laundry room on the far end of the house, two very wobbly chairs at the breakfast table (that were replaced a day before checkout by maintenance), and other things I’ll point out to the host. For the type of booking and the property, a better cleanliness and readiness property would make this a 5 star booking. We understand mistakes can be made but definitely not worth the service cleaning fee. Besides that, we dealt with these things and made the best out of it.

Great Property!

Plenty of room for a large group. The property is technically a renovated older house that was then joined to a newer house so that was a very nice setup with a lot of options for a big group. All in excellent condition and up to date. Very nice.

Ample space, lots of furniture, and open space for a big family. Cleanliness could use more work but otherwise nice house. Good location near stores, restaurants, and access to all the facilities.

Lovely Home

This is a beautiful home with lot of space. Owners are easy to work with and very nice people. This is our second time renting the home and we look forward to renting again in the future.
