「Quiet location on a small farm (29 acres) just outside Buxton. Very well equipped kitchen and good internet/wifi.
Friendly helpful owners who live on-site. Great location and a base for the Peak District walks plus there is a nice walk from Cowdale farm to King Sterndale. If you’re into climbing there is a rock face used by climbers less than 500 metres from the accommodation.」

「The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive.」

「Beautiful, cosy two bed cottage, there was a double room and a room with bunk beds (plus a sofa bed we didn't use). Beds were comfortable, decor was nice, the area is very quiet and was easy to find. We had everything we needed, the ground coffee and milk sachets was a great touch. 「What a lovely place to stay. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We parked up the car at the back of the pub and left it there for two days because everything you need is right there. We did a great walk from the pub and bought essentials from the little shop at the campsite opposite. The food at the pub was great . I highly recommend.」
