Really nice hotel. Rooms are good.
Staff were all really super friendly and helpful.
My only negative point was the prices in the hotel coffee shop. A beer was probably 3 times the cost of a bar outside so it felt like you were being ripped off to support the hotel and its staff.

Staff were great but the service was so slow. Evening meal in the bistro was disgraceful but in the Japanese restaurant it was great but again, very slow. No quiet areas where you can bring your own drinks to sit and relax. Pool is not at all what is shown and you can't get an alcholic drink there either. Have to compliment your staff though.

For Surabaya (as a non-tourist destination) I like staying here (many times) Nothing stands out, but nothing disappoints either. My rate would be 4 stars.

They gave me 2nd floor room. So noisy. Some fellas were banging and doing construction at 12:30am!

Nice hotel in a good location in Surabaya CBD.
Staff were also very firendly and helpful.
Like a lot of hotels post pandemic though the hotel is starting to show its age a little bit so will need renovating at some stage before too long.
We got room on 6th floor, we requested for a smoke free room - and we got a room on the older wing (this hotel was previously Mirama Hotel), however we found out the bathroom was running out of soap, refrigerator was non functioning and the chair cushion were dusty. I am allergic to dust - so the whole time I was there I kept on sneezing. very 'painful' experience.

6박동안 객실 청소와 서비스 문제로 매우 불편했음. 타올부족으로 거의 매일 재요청을 해야했고 바닥청소도 깨끗하지 못했으며 세면대와 샤워부스는 배수가 잘 되지않아서 방을 바꿨음에도 불구하고 계속 막혀서 불편했음. 6박으로 체크인했는데 5박째 되는날 카드키가 안되서 연장해야했음. 같이 간 사람도 같은 문제가 있어서 카드키를 연장해야했음.

Mercure Surabaya is well located in the city, getting around is not difficult. The hotel is suited for business travelers and couples as it has decent facilities for everyone including pool, gym, spa, etc. and a good collection of restaurants
