Cudjoe paradise
Property has an amazing view of the ocean. I appreciated the stocked kitchen with lots of serving bowls, garlic press, and hand juicer. Plenty of living area for guests. Spent most of my mornings at the outdoor table which was very comfortable. Great freezer for bait downstairs and appreciated the room for tackle and gear. Host was very communicative when we had an issue with the microwave. Would have preferred a king size bed, but it was ok for the week in exchange for the view. I would recommend host getting a countertop ice machine for drinks as the refrigerator has a super small ice bin and it just couldn't keep up even with dumping it in the larger bin below. A/C stopped working while we were there; however, the host took care of it right away. One night of hot sleep, but cool after that. Home is a perfect getaway and location is great. You are on deep water and have access to gulf as well as ocean. Only negative thing I can say is that the Security girl is rude at the gate upon checkin; but once past that you can actually brush it off and enjoy your stay. Surprise extra $150 to store boat trailer off site which was not expected, but this had nothing to do with host, but Venture Out itself. Didn't appreciate having to try to locate a storage facility upon arrival for the trailer. Venture Out needs to do a better job with that and notify folks in advance if they don't have capacity.
