"A great place to stay. Straight across from the train station and surrounded by hundreds of shops and restaurants. Tram and bus stops right outside, so it is very convenient for sightseeing. Great view of Sakurajima from the lobby window. Room was smallish but functional and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any requests. Another one I will definitely return to ."

"Most beautiful view for an onsen that we’ve been to in Japan so far. The free town shuttles are to and from the bus / train station + 2 other downtown locations are frequent and convenient. The hotel amenities are great with so many options, a Family Mart and bakery on the premises"

"Clean and convenient but noisy. The sounds from the street outside as well as other guests walking up the stairs and talking at night woke us up a few times. The walls are very thin. The porch was nice. Bed was not the most comfortable but not the worst. "
