"Don't get me wrong, the couple was very nice. Let us check out their animals, go to the spring on their property, gave us a dozen eggs... However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey also deflate with cold weather. The blankets provided were unacceptably thin. If I had not brought blankets from home we would have frozen to death. I finally gave up and everyone slept in the...

"My wife and I stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. It’s was such a relaxing experience. Just the two of us the river and the thunderstorms. Absolutely amazing. The host was very helpful and the place was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. The only thing missing for us was a hammock lol. One key thing, do your shopping before you get into town, the country mart is the only store and it’s very expensive."

"Came to town just for a family wedding in marthasville & fell in love with Washington! Such an adorable little town with everything possible. We had desserts to bake for the wedding & the kitchen was so well equipped so that was a big plus! Local restaurants and park were also a draw for the area, and the river view was amazing! "The listing said there was WiFi but it never worked for us. I reached out to the owner and my concern was not acknowledged. If I had been traveling while working this would have been terrible, as I have to have WiFi for my remote work. I’m okay if I don’t need it, but if the listing says it’s there and find out it’s not, that bothers me a bit and makes me a little uneasy. We lost power, it came back on pretty quick. The cabin is cute and cozy. The views are incredible!"

"The property was great. Access to a nice sized little lake with a canoe, two kayaks, fire pit, and great hiking trails on property. It rained a lot when we were down there which had an effect on the well water so make sure to bring pretty of bottled water to drink just in case."
