The house was very clean, and we appreciated that it was well maintained from a cleanliness standpoint. However, the listing is misleading regarding the number of guests it can comfortably accommodate. While there are enough beds and pull-out sofas to sleep up to 22 people, the layout is very awkward. Several bedrooms can only be accessed by walking through other bedrooms, and some bathrooms are only accessible by going through a bedroom as well. If you’re one large family that’s comfortable sharing space and sacrificing privacy, it may work. Otherwise, I believe the home should be advertised as having private bedrooms that comfortably sleep 10, with the remaining sleeping areas considered shared or non-private.The indoor pool was clean, but because it is located in an already dark space and has a dark-colored bottom, working pool lights are especially important. Unfortunately, the pool lights were burned out, making it impossible to see the bottom after dark. This created what we felt was a significant safety concern, especially for families with small children.More concerning, a fluorescent light fixture in the garage fell and struck one of our guests on the head. Fortunately, no serious injury occurred, but it highlights that the property is in need of some maintenance and TLC.Overall, the house has potential and was very clean, but the listing should better represent the layout, and the property would benefit from addressing several maintenance and safety issues.
