We stayed at the motel annex and had a nice view of the lake from the front door way. Breakfast had a lot of hearty choices in such an elegant dining room! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The location was beautiful in a small village and not too far from Loen (45 min drive). We went to Stryn a few times for meals and shopping. Hjelle was a good base for day trips.

I had a wonderful stay at Hjelle Hotel! The breakfast was varied and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, and the mountain view from our window was absolutely beautiful. The staff provided excellent and friendly service, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is also perfect for exploring the area, with lots of activities and beautiful scenery nearby. A peaceful and memorable place to stay in Norway. I would definitely recommend Hjelle Hotel and would love to come back!
